Web Based Tools Assignment

Name: StudyStackLink: http://www.studystack.com/
Functionality: StudyStack allows visitors to review information in a variety of formats. You can either view existing "stacks" or create your own. It then allows users to review that information as flashcards, matching, games, and more.Opportunities: This tool is a great resource to engage all types of learners in the classroom. It also helps create something that can be referenced multiple times and is housed in one place. It's a quick and easy tool for helping kids memorize the information they need to.Review: It's a great time saver if you can find a pre-existing stack that applies to the topics and concepts discussed in your class. However, inputing information is quite easy as well. Once the information is in, it is useable by anyone - as long as it is labeled as a public stack. I think kids will enjoy being able to play a game while reviewing the content.

Name: FlubarooLink: http://www.flubaroo.com/Functionality: Flubaroo is a Google App that will grade assignments, provide a spreadsheet and analysis of results, and send scores to students.Opportunities: This tool would be a huge time saver in the classroom. Given that your assignments can be created via Google Forms, this app can help teachers get instant feedback and allow more focus on the reteaching element.Review: This app will be a great resource in my classroom when I'm able to create my assessments in Google Forms. In my project based classes, this tool will be irrelevant unless I'm giving a formative assessment on terms or something along those lines. In addition, creating all my assessments in Google Forms will be a time investment on the front end, but hopefully well worth it.
